DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual Carp-O-Rama fishing event just south of North Platte! \nThe event will take place at Lake Maloney State Recreation Area on Saturday\, July 26 at the east boat ramp. \nThese annual events are a one-day version of fish camp\, featuring information on how to catch\, clean and cook carp. Novice or expert\, the events provide advice on fishing equipment and techniques as well as demonstrations on fish preparation. \nThe event is free\, but a valid state park permit is required for entry.

DESCRIPTION:Join us for Community Fishing Night at Lake Maloney SRA! \nHosted by Nebraska Game and Parks\, community fishing events are held at venues across the state each spring and summer. \nLook for the Family Fishing Trailer\, where loaner rods and reels\, bait and fishing instruction are available free to participants. Fishing Instructors are also available to provide helpful tips and answer questions. This is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages who have never been fishing or haven’t fished for years to learn. \nAll participants ages 16 and older need a fishing license.
