DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a sunset run around the lake with your fitness family at the annual Twilight 5K and Mile! \nThis event will be staged near the south side of the inlet at Lake Maloney with the start and finish at the Lake Maloney Trailhead. Enjoy our gorgeous route around the lake’s trail system. Packet pickup and race-day registration begin at 7 p.m. Mile begins at 7:45 p.m.\, with 5K start immediately following.

DESCRIPTION:June is PTSD Awareness Month\, and no one fights alone. Join the American Legion Post #163 and your local fitness family for this unique and inspiring event! \n“Rucking” is the sport of walking\, running\, or hiking with a weighted backpack or vest. For this event\, choose between two races styles (rucking with a pack or weighted vest\, or running with no pack) and two distances (12 or 6 miles). \nThis event starts and finishes at Peg Leg Brewing in North Platte\, and will be run primarily on portions of the NP Trails Network. Race day registration is 7:00 a.m. Presentation of colors at 8:00 a.m. The start time of both ruck and run will be at 8:30 a.m. Overall winners get free entry into the next year’s event. DESCRIPTION:North Platte’s oldest road race! The annual Nebraskaland Days 5K\, 10K & Junior Mile Run is your dose of fitness fun during our state’s annual celebration. Adults enjoy a 5K or 10K route over pavement and gravel surfaces\, including the picturesque grounds of Scouts Rest Ranch. Medals awarded to the first three males and females in each age group of the 5K and 10K. \nAdult packet pickup at Wild West Arena in the Pavillion at 6:30 a.m.\, race start at 7:30 a.m. \nKids mile race (14 and under) will take place along the parade route\, beginning at Memorial Park on 4th Street\, at noon.
