SUMMARY:Tyler Vanderheiden Memorial 2 Mile & 5 Mile
DESCRIPTION:Mental health and suicide prevention are two of the most significant public health concerns in our region today. Supported by West Central District Health Department\, this event aims to bring the light of understanding to the subject of mental health and highlight the relationship between physical health and mental health. This event is in collaboration with Nebraska Game & Parks in remembrance of Tyler’s love of the great outdoors. Funds will go to trail and outdoor space development and improvement in the Nebraska Park system for all Nebraskans to enjoy.  To contribute additional funds to the NE Game & Parks Foundation in Tyler’s name\, please visit https://tvm.betterworld.org. \nPacket pickup and race day registration begin at 7:30 a.m. near the Cody Park concession stand. Both race distances begin at 8:30 a.m. Race swag includes one T-shirt. \nAdditional information about this event can be found at the race website\, Tyler Vanderheiden Memorial Race. \nVIRTUAL RACE\nJoin us virtually any time\, anywhere between May 30 and June 1\, 2025.
