DESCRIPTION:POTTERS RACE DAY IS BACK! \nSaturday\, October 17th | Potters Pasture \nGrab your bike\, lace up your running shoes\, round up your friends\, and get ready for the 3rd Annual Potters Race Day! \nWhether you’re chasing a podium\, looking for a new challenge\, or just want to spend an awesome fall day outdoors\, there’s an adventure waiting for you at Potters Pasture. \nGRAVEL RACES & RIDES \nThis year\, we’ve beefed up the gravel options with three routes through the beautiful rolling hills of central Nebraska! \n69 Miles — Go big! A timed gravel race for riders ready to test themselves. \n41 Miles — Plenty of hills\, gravel\, and competition! This race will also be timed. \n18 Miles — A challenging but fun gravel/pavement ride featuring some fantastic scenery as you ride past—and down the hill from—Jeffrey Lake. \nThe 69- and 41-mile races will feature cash prizes for the top three men and top three women! \nHIT THE TRAILS! — 5K & 10K \nPrefer running? Take on a 5K or 10K trail race through Potters Pasture! \nThe trail races kick off at 9:00 AM\, and the gravel rides don’t start until 10:00 AM\, so feeling ambitious? \nRUN IT. THEN RIDE IT. \nBring your friends\, bring the family\, or bring your favorite four-legged adventure buddy on a leash!  There are plenty of ways to enjoy the day. \nAND YES…THERE WILL BE FOOD! \nAfter you cross the finish line\, stick around for hamburgers and hot dogs and enjoy some time with your fellow racers\, riders\, and Potters Pasture supporters. \nRACE. RIDE. RUN. REBUILD. \nThis year’s Race Day means even more. \nPotters Pasture suffered significant fire damage this spring\, including the loss of the maintenance garage\, mower\, post-hole digger\, refrigerator\, tools\, and other amenities that help keep Potters running. \nEvery dollar raised from Potters Race Day will go toward rebuilding\, maintaining\, and improving the place we all love. \nA dedicated group of volunteers has been working incredibly hard to keep Potters Pasture open and available for everyone. By spending the day racing\, riding\, running\, donating\, or simply joining the fun\, you’re helping build Potters back better than ever. \nDon’t want to race but still want to help? Donations are greatly appreciated! \nMAKE A WEEKEND OF IT! \nCamping is available at Potters Pasture\, with limited electrical and water hookups. Reservations can be made through Hipcamp or The Dyrt. \nPrefer a hotel? You’ll find lodging options nearby in Cozad\, Gothenburg\, and North Platte. \nCome for the race. Stay for the adventure.
