The Buffalo Bill Brawl National Open Tournament is a 3-day Boxing Tournament, open to ALL boxers of ALL ages and weight divisions and is designed to provide all amateur boxers with a platform where they can show off their talents. These events will bring amateur boxers from all around the country, including Missouri, Texas, Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Wyoming, and more… to our community. The Nebraska Local Boxing Committee (LBC) of USA Boxing and the North Platte Area Sports Commission is inviting you, your boxer(s), and your clubs to compete in the championship tournament. Champions will receive a custom Title Belt from Walenta’s Custom Leather and Runner Up will receive a Trophy. This event is sanctioned by:

Registration and general weigh-ins will be held on Friday, July 31st, 2020, from 8am to 12pm, CST at the Best Western Plus. Athletes, Coaches and Officials are strongly advised to register online to avoid waiting in line during registration.
Coaches who do not register online will be required to pay $35 admission fees on July 31st, 2020.
All participants must provide a current USA Boxing passbook, with a 2020 membership card and current physical attached. Coaches and Officials must show proof of current certification.
General weigh-in is mandatory for all boxers in order to be placed on the brackets. There are no weight allowances, boxers must be on weight.
Trial Scale(s) will be available during registration on and prior to daily weigh-ins at 7am, CST and throughout competition. Location and times during competition will be posted.
Daily weigh-in will begin at 8am, CST at D&N Event Center.
Elite Division (19-40 years old) Elite Boxers must have ten (10) registered bouts in order to compete. Boxers with less than five (5) registered bouts will be categorized as a Novice Boxer. Walkover bouts do not count. An Elite Boxer must be born between the years of 1979 – 2001.
Youth Age Division Youth Boxers must be 17 or 18 years of age at the time of the tournament. This age division will have 3, 3-minute rounds.
Junior Age Division Junior Boxers must be 15 or 16 years of age at the time of the tournament. This age division will have 3, 2minute rounds.
Intermediate Age Division Intermediate Boxers must be 13 or 14 years of age at the time of the tournament. This age division will have 3, 1.5-minute rounds
Bantam Age Division Bantam Boxers must be 11 or 12 years of age at the time of the tournament. This age division will have 3, 1-minute rounds.
Pee Wee Age Division Pee Wee Boxers must be 8, 9, or 10 years of age at the time of the tournament. This age division will have 3, 1-minute rounds. Note: Pee Wee 8 years of age will only compete against another 8-year-old. Boxers in the Pee Wee Division at the start of the tournament will compete as an 8-year-old. Those already 9 years of age will compete in the Pee Wee 9-10 Division.

Officials and coaches are Free. Coaches who do not register online will be required to pay $35 admission fees on July 31st, 2020.

Matched Bouts: Unopposed athletes may be eligible for matched bouts. If you are interested in a match bout, please attend the coaches meeting.

Every boxer and/or coach must confirm they have been placed into the correct age bracket and weight class before the brackets are publishes; no changes will be made after July 31st, 2020. Any discrepancies should be reported to tournament director, Nate Walenta, immediately.
Brackets: Tournament brackets and bout sheets will be posted on the North Platte Area Sports Commission website, at the host hotel and at the event center following registration.
Headgear: Headgear will be worn throughout the event by all boxers. All boxers must wear USA Boxing approved headgear.
Gloves: Buffalo Bill Brawl will provide competition gloves for all age and weight divisions through this event.
Uniform: All boxers uniform must have a color contrasting waistband. NO adornment may be affixed to the trunks such as metal or plastic objects, sequins, etc. No flapping material, gladiator or Thai type trunks, fringes or tassels.
All participating members should be aware that we represent USA Boxing and that we are ambassadors for the sport of amateur boxing. The conduct of all participants both inside and outside the Field of Play should demonstrate exemplary behavior, always. Any participant deemed guilty of misconduct will be subject to disciplinary actions as listed on the USA Boxing Code of Conduct. All participants must adhere to the USA Boxing Code of Conduct, which must be signed at registration.
