Potters Pasture will be hosting the 2nd Annual “Race Day” on Sept. 27th.
This year we beefed up the gravel race options there are 4 gravel ride options that slice through the rolling hills of central Nebraska. 71 / 51 / 31 / 11 mi.
It would be hard to have an event at Potters without a single track mountain bike race. The cedar tree trails of Potters Pasture and the mowed trails that explore ridgelines and valleys make for tremendous ride. The 10ish mile mountain bike single track course will provide you with a rush like no other. The cattle trails that we ride at Potters all lead to water but these trails will be leading you to an experience that you will never forget!
At “Race Day at Potters” we want everyone to leave happy and if it is a “runners high” that you are seeking then plan on signing up for either the 5 or 10k gravel road run. This out-and-back race is a perfect way to enjoy the rolling hills and the scenery of cowboy country in Nebraska. Spend the day with your friends, or spend your day with your favorite friend on a leash.
As you can see there are plenty of options for you to choose. If you are struggling to selecting a race then maybe you should attempt multiple. Any participant that completes all three race types gets a custom sweatshirt! If you decide to on multiple races it is a flat fee of $50.
There will be HAMBURGERS & HOTDOG after completion of races.
All proceeds go to improvements and maintenance of Potters Pasture!
Camping is available at Potters Pasture with limited electrical and water hookups available. Camping reservations and be made on Hipcamp or DYRT! Want to stay in a hotel? There are plenty of choices that you can find in Cozad, Gothenburg and North Platte.
