This unique event honors North Platte fitness pioneer and mayor Jim Whitaker and celebrates the value of trails to our community! The race begins and ends at Occasions, 125 E. North Lake Road, and takes you on a scenic tour of Whitaker’s Way, the trail system that incorporates the NPPD Canal Trail and travels to the scenic overlook south of North Platte.
Race-day registration begins at 6:30 a.m., with race start at 7:30 a.m.
